Starting a blog!

Sooo...I decided to start this blog for a couple reasons...I had one for a while when Owen was a baby but got overwhelmed and never kept up with it.  I really would like to use this as a babybook/journal so we can look back and remember this time with the kiddos being little.  SO I am going to try to update weekly.  The other reason is because I have friends/family members who don't use facebook and would like to see pics of the kids!   Anyway that is that. 

Today was a snow day due to an ice storm we had last night so of course that means it is 4:20 in the afternoon and Owen, Ella, and I are still wearing our jammies. 
Tried to have a jammie photo shoot but clearly Ella was camera shy.  Shocker. As you can see in the left hand side of the picture, I did pick out clothes to dress the kids in but our pajama's were just way to warm and cozy on an icy day! 

This has been the perfect lazy day...Owen and Ella have done a decent job of entertaining each other and it's cute to see them play together.

Dustin will be home soon and we will have to get dressed (finally) for the last BGHS regular season basketball game.  I can't believe another season has come and gone.  This will be a memorable one with Dustin's 8th grade team going 18-0!  I always miss basketball season and wonder what we will do with all of the extra time on our hands.  I am SO ready for warm weather so we can start walking again!  It will be fun to see Ella experience the park as a toddler instead of a baby this year! 

 

This was 1 year ago at the park in early spring...Ella was not quite into it yet :)  SO hard to believe how much they have grown in 1 short year.
