Is it summer yet...

Only two weeks of school left but for some reason they are starting to drag!! This week I didn't take many pics.  We were busy and it seemed like every time I reached for the camera it was not with me!
Last weekend started out with Justin and Mindy Oakley's wedding.  We had such a great time!  There is something about wedding that just put you in a good mood and reminds you of your own wedding and marriage.  After the wedding most of the Oakley's went to Ogara's for a few drinks and we always have a fun time with them!  It was also nice to have some alone time with Dustin without the kids.  They spent the night with my Aunt Jean and had a blast!

The rest of the week consisted of a Doctor appointment for Ella...we finally past the 20 pound mark and she is weighing in at 21 pounds at 19 months!  Exactly what Owen weighed at 6 months!  Total opposites that is for sure!!  We also took the kiddos to Monkey Joe's to celebrate Owen filling up another sticker chart for good behavior.  Ella really had fun this time since it was her first time really jumping and playing there. Not going to lie...I was happy she needed help going down the slides.  Owen was excited that I was in there with them too! Wish I would have remembered to bring my darn camera! GAH!
Here are the few pics I do have from the week!
Spent a lot of time chatting on the phone

Moved to the family table this week...No more high chair.  We love having her closer to us!

Cold softball game last night!

Love this smile!

Mother's Day!

The last week has gone fast.  We had two more tball games.  My dad came to both games so I had some help with little Miss Ella Rose.  She had fun sitting with Grandpa on Saturday because they ate corn dogs and Grandpa bought her very first ring pop!

Mother's day was so fun!  Dustin came home from working all night at his weekend job and brought me breakfast and a Starbucks mocha. The card was extra special this year because Owen could write his name and "I love you mommy" in it all by himself.  He went to bed for a few hours and said that we had lunch plans, but of course wouldn't tell me where.  As soon as we got off on a certain exit though I knew we were going to Gray's in Mooresville.  He also invited my Aunt Jean, Uncle Joe, and my grandma to join us.  We got to Gray's and the wait was WAY too long so we had to eat somewhere else but it was still good and I was happy to be with family!  After that we went to Pioneer Park and the kids had a blast.  It was a perfect day!
Here are some pics from the park!

Baseball, Birthday Parties, and Outside Fun!

Whew!  Its been about two weeks since my last post.  Tball is keeping us busy!  We had our opening day parade and game and it was a lot of fun!  Owen absolutely loves playing and Dustin is enjoying coaching.  Owen is quite the little slugger and we love every minute of watching him!  Being team mom is...interesting!  I have a feeling that this will be my last time as team mom.  It's more work than I was hoping it would be and I feel like I don't really get to concentrate on watching Owen play when I am in the dugout keeping all of the players under control!   It's been fun but kind of exhausting! Here are all of our pictures from opening day.  Unfortunately my camera stopped working when Owen went up to bat but we got his awesome hit recorded! :)
Here are a few pics!

We also have spent a lot of time outside.  I am obsessed with this weather!  The kids would live outside if I let them!

Owen used to be terrified of bugs...not anymore!  Loves to pick them up and freak me out!

They love running down the hill in our back yard

Owen participated in the Indiana Young Athletes Special Olympics with his preschool class!  This is his second year.  It is so much fun to watch. The first picture is pretty awesome!  Who knew Owen could fly :)

We also went to Dani's 3rd Birthday party last weekend.  There was a bounce house so I didn't see much of Owen!  He bounced  for about 4 hours until he was exhausted and grumpy!  It was Ella's first bounce house experience and she LOVED it!

I can't believe how fast the past couple weeks have gone!  I will leave you with a  few other random pics!

By the time bath time rolls around in our house every one is a little on the grumpy side!!

Nothing I love more than sleepy pics

This girl loves baby dolls

She FINALLY let me paint her toes!

This is how Ella does Target.  Owen always sat in the cart perfectly at her age.  Little Miss Ella has her own thoughts on grocery shopping!
