State Fair Time!

I have been letting this blog slip a little!  Life as I know it has changed a lot now that I am doing preschool at home!  By the end of the day I am pretty exhausted!  Not sure what I will do when basketball season starts and Dustin will be gone every evening until bedtime!  Yikes.

Well now to the post...We made it to the state fair twice with my dad this year.  There aren't many things I love more than the State Fair!  The kids LOVED it!   They loved the food and rides.  Owen loved that Grandpa took him home each night we went to the fair to spend the night at his house.  The weather was perfect.  I remember last year we couldn't go because it was almost 100 degrees!  Anyway here are our pictures from both trips :)

My three favorite men in my life!

She loved the ride...She did not like that Owen kept touching her

lagging behind enjoying her pineapple whip!

The next couple are from my Aunts pool party we attended on Saturday.  Ella missed her nap got clumsy and fell in the pool.  She was fine but it scared her and wore her out.  I loved that I got to hold her while she was sleeping.  It's been a year or more since she has allowed that to happen!

Hanging with the band :)

Can Summer Really Be Over??

It went WAY too fast.  It always does!  This summer was bittersweet since I left my much loved job at BGHS to stay home with my kiddos and start my own in home preschool.  Wish me luck!  I have 3 kiddos ready to go.
We took a spur of the moment trip to Indiana beach for the night with Dustin's mom.  It was so fun.  Say what you will about Indiana Beach being old and dirty but I love how historic it is!  And it was NOT even dirty.  It was perfect for the kids.  They had a ton of kiddie rides and then some roller coasters for Dustin and I...and OWEN!!!  He walked right in and said I am riding that (The Hoosier Hurricane)  He walked right up...got on...and laughed hysterically the entire ride and then rode it again, and a different one.  Pretty impressive for a 4 year old.  I am happy that he is taller than average so he could ride!

Anyway...What an amazing summer!  Probably on of the best and busiest ever!
I will leave you with pictures from the last few weeks!
They loved watching Rio and Monsters Inc on the way!
